Privacy Policy
§ 1 General provisions
  1. The Privacy Policy specifies how Users’ personal data necessary to provide services electronically through the https://www.petsofpoland.com website (hereinafter: the Service) are collected, processed and stored.
  2. The website collects only the personal data necessary to provide and develop the services offered therein.
  3. Personal data collected via the Website are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.
§ 2 Data administrator

§ 3 Purpose of collecting personal data
  1. Personal data is used for the following purposes:
    • account registration and User identity verification,
    • enabling logging in to the Service,
    • performance of the contract regarding services and e-services,
    • communication with the User (livechat, contact form, etc.)
    • sending the newsletter (after the User has consented to receive it),
    • running a comment system,
    • providing community services,
    • promotion of the Administrator’s offer,
    • marketing, remarketing, affiliation,
    • personalization of the Service for Users,
    • analytical and statistical activities,
    • debt collection,
    • establishing and pursuing claims or defending against them.
  2. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to conclude a contract or use other functionalities of the Service.
§ 4 Type of personal data processed

The Administrator may process the User’s personal data: name and surname, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number, Tax Identification Number.

§ 5. Period of personal data processing

Users’ personal data will be processed for the period of:

  • when the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract – until the limitation period for claims after its performance expires,
  • when the basis for data processing is consent – until its withdrawal, and after the withdrawal of consent until the limitation period for claims expires.

In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims relating to running a business – 3 years (unless special provisions provide otherwise).

§ 6 Sharing of personal data

Users’ personal data will be processed for the period of:

  • when the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract – until the limitation period for claims after its performance expires,
  • when the basis for data processing is consent – until its withdrawal, and after the withdrawal of consent until the limitation period for claims expires.

§ 7 User Rights
  1. The User of the Website has the right to: access the content of their personal data, rectify it, delete it, limit its processing, transfer it, object to the processing, withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  2. A notification about the User exercising the rights resulting from the above-mentioned rights should be sent to the following address: marta@petsofpoland.com.
  3. The Administrator shall comply or refuse to comply with the request immediately – no later than within one month of receiving it.
  4. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if he/she considers that the processing violates his/her rights and freedoms (GDPR).
§ 8 Cookies
  1. The website collects information using cookies – session, permanent and external.
  2. Collecting cookies supports the correct provision of services on the Website and serves statistical purposes.
  3. The user can specify the scope of cookie access to their device in their browser settings.
§ 9 Automated decision-making and profiling
  1. User data cannot be processed in an automated manner that could result in any decisions being made about them.
  2. User data may be profiled in order to adapt the content and personalize the offer after they have expressed their consent.
§ 10 Final provisions
  1. The Administrator has the right to introduce changes to the Privacy Policy, but the rights of Users will not be limited.
  2. Information about the changes introduced will appear in the form of a message available on the Website.
  3. In matters not regulated in this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the GDPR and Polish law shall apply.
